Installation

For those customers who prefer to have the surface and associated fencing installed by a contractor, there are many specialists to choose from. However, it is important that the impact absorbing surface installed is that of the client's choice, based on a full assessment of the requirements of each individual site.

We would recommend that only contractors who are members of the Association of Play Industries (API) are employed. The API is the trade body representing both manufacturers and installers of play equipment and surfaces, whose members work to a written code of practice. Their address and telephone number can be found under the section "Useful Addresses & Further Reading".

As a precautionary measure, it is recommended that all delivery notes for materials supplied are shown to the client.
