    Product Description

  • This unique, bark-based Melcourt product is supplied in a 950 x 250 millimetre nominal crop bag size.

    Typical Crop Applications

  • Single-season hydroponic production of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.
    User Benefits

  • Melcourt Salad-Bags® have been shown to match the quality and yield of existing mineral wool systems.
  • Easy to ‘wet-up’ and ‘re-wet’ the entire bag contents.
  • Excellent root growth throughout the bag.
  • Lower water / nutrient requirements with no yield or quality reduction indicated.
  • Natural pest and disease suppression may occur.
  • Disposal after the crop has been cleared is a far less costly and a substantially more environmentally acceptable option.
  • Very cost comparable, compared to the existing mineral wool slabs.

  • Melcourt Salad-Bags® should be laid out in the greenhouse and used in the same way as mineral wool slabs
