Melcourt Orchid Barks have been widely used by professional and amateur orchid growers throughout the UK for more than a decade, producing consistently excellent results.

We offer two distinct grades of Pine Orchid Bark, coarse and medium, which have been very carefully selected, screened and graded.

Melcourt Orchid Barks are normally available in 70 litre bags and bulk bags.

Melcourt Orchid Bark^TM
Coarse

A chunky, fine-free pine bark, designed for use in orchid composts where it provides extremely free drainage and long-term structural stability. This product is from FSC Mixed Sources at a minimum of 50% and is Soil Association approved.

Melcourt Orchid Bark^TM
Medium

A chunky, fine-free pine bark, designed for use in orchid composts where it provides extremely free drainage and long-term structural stability. This product is from FSC Mixed Sources at a minimum of 50% and is Soil Association approved.

For customers requiring a finer grade we recommend Melcourt Propagating Bark (2mm to 7mm nominal particle size)
