Melcourt EquifibreTM - FSC
    Melcourt EquifibreTM is used to:-

  • Provide a safe, clean riding surface for horses and is used to construct
    • Training gallops
    • Maneges for jumping and dressage
    • Recovery yards
    • Riding School arenas, indoor and outdoor
    Product Description

  • Melcourt EquifibreTM consists of a graded blend of woodfibre, produced from fresh, British-grown, sustainable conifer species.
  • Clean, light weight and initially a pale sandy colour. On exposure to the elements and with continual use, it will darken to a deep grey-brown.
  • Nominal particle size of 3 - 30mm.
    Typical Uses

  • Suitable for all equestrian surfacing when a firm yet yielding surface is required.
  • Particularly effective for race horse training gallops
  • Ideal for riding school maneges
  • Most suitable for dressage arenas
  • Recovery, veterinary and turning out yards and corrals.

Melcourt EquifibreTM is free flowing and will settle during initial rolling. Approximately 15% compaction should be allowed when calculating the final finished depth to be installed.


Product settlement percentages are provided for your guidance only. If the product settles more than the minimum figure stated, it is the customer's responsibility to order sufficient additional material, to give the required finished depth.
