  If Melcourt Bio-filter media is installed mechanically or driven on during construction, additional quantities may be needed. The greater the compaction, the higher the back pressure.
  
  Product settlement percentages are provided for your guidance only. If the product settles more than the minimum figure stated, it is the customer's responsibility to order sufficient additional material, to give the required finished depth.

• Durability: This is a guide only as aggressive odours, management and maintenance of the filter will effect the media's life.

• Liability: Products in the Melcourt Biofilter range are processed to be used as media in filters handling organic odours and have been tried in a range of conditions over several seasons. However, as Melcourt has no control over the circumstances surrounding the use of their products, the company cannot accept liability for every eventuality.
