  • Melcourt Spent Mushroom CompostTM is a blend of composted agricultural straw and animal manures, originating from the production of mushrooms.
  • A product from our 'economy' range.
  • Mid to dark brown in colour.
  • The product is free flowing and easy to handle.

    Product Features

  • Easy to spread and incorporate, using simple tools.
  • Effective service life, 1 year plus.
  • The lime content in this product makes it unsuitable for ericaceous, lime-hating plants.
    Application Rates

  • Spread Melcourt Spent Mushroom CompostTM evenly onto the soil surface to a depth of not less than 50 mm, then thoroughly incorporate into at least the top 150 mm of soil.
  • This application ratio can be exceeded on poor soils.

    Application Rates

  • Spread Melcourt Spent Mushroom CompostTM onto the soil surface to a depth of ........ mm (insert depth required), turn and thoroughly incorporate into the top ........ mm (insert incorporated depth required) of soil.
    Additional Clauses

  • Typical product samples to be provided upon request.
  • All product volumes to be calculated using The Bulk Density method, as set out in CEN BS EN 12599 and 12580.
